Chiropody

Our Chiropodist or foot specialist are qualified to write prescription, perform gait analysis and dispense orthotic and shoes. They also treat such conditions as the removal or corns and callouses. Only those who are registered by the Ontario College of Chiropodist are licensed to practice as Chiropodists in Ontario.

Chiropractic

Chiropractic treatment focus on the examination, diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the musculoskeletal system. In addition they use modalities such as IFC, ultra sound and active exercise programs.

Like foot specialist in Ontario chiropractors are qualified and permitted to provide custom orthotics and orthopedic shoes to their patients. Most insurance however do not accept prescriptions from chiropractors for orthotics and shoes, though they can perform biomechanical assessment and gait analysis as well as dispense these orthopedic devices.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a process of manual treatment of the body’s muscular and soft tissue structures. The benefits are increased ranges of motion and flexibility, stress reduction and improved circulation helping to achieve an overall feeling of well-being.
